We can evangelize or socialize. It all depends on whether you are saved or not.

Homosexuality, what is God's view?

There are many "Christian homosexuals" who are not forthright about their homosexuality with their church leaders and fellow churchmen. Some identify with being homosexual but say they are not sexually active and therefore not "in sin". Still others secretly believe that God is okay with their sexual lifestyle so long as it is monogamous and within the context of gay marriage. Is it wrong to tell these different brands of "Christian homosexuals" that they are in sin and must therefore denounce homosexuality as a sin punishable by eternal fire? What about Christians that confuse fellowship with outreach. Is it acceptable to have intimate friendship with homosexuals? What of scriptures like, "be not unequally yoked", or "how can two walk together unless they agree?" Let me hear your thoughts.

i dont think homosexuality is rite at all... some ppl use the excuse saying that they were born that way.. that cant be true.. because if it was ok to be gay in GODS eyes,then it would be possible to reproduce that way..but it isnt....i forgot what scripture it was but GOD said something about multiplying and that isnt possible with 2 people of the same sex.Therefore my thoughts on homosexuality basically states that it isnt rite,but homosexuals can still be christians and worship GOD.

Honestly,i dont think i would be able to confront someone of the church about their homosexuality because its awkward and i couldnt see myself doing it.even kno everyone sins,it is stil something that should worked on instead of being covered up by saying "after all everyone sins".

They often are born that way. Some signs are little boys (3) wanting to wear dresses, talking about wearing dresses, going through mom's clothes, and playing with dolls. A woman who works for the city talked about the LGBT community and said that this is an early indicator. A transgendered person male to female, who likes a male would actually be considered straight...think about it. Their identity of themselves is female. A person who is gay, is an expression of their attraction.

there is a 1 in 12 chance for a transgendered person to be wounded or killed because of their identity than a 1 in 18,000 chance for a "normal" person.

I'm voting no on 102. This is about living in America and rights. The Puritans escaped England for religious persecution, and now we are doing it to the gay community!!! What irony!

I say let the gays marry but not in God's house. Let them do it at the court house. That's my political take on the subject.They got rights. NOW as far as what God says, NO HOMOSEXUALITY OK! The ones that do so will see the same punishment as Sodom and Gohmorra! So with that being said,and they have their free will,let them do whatever they like. God has spoken and that's that!

in sodom and gohmorra they were not punished for homosexuality. not at all. if you study that passage, you will realize they were punished for destroying eachother. {this is what heteros and homos do to eachother} they were punished for rape, murder, idolity. they happened to be homosexual. and Jesus himself was a criminal, and helped many criminals escape for one i must add. the homosexuality issue is an issue of personal belief rather than biblical.

I think you need to dig a little deeper into the studying of your Bible Noah. I believe you are missing something and you need to locate it. Jesus was no criminal and I am deeply offended that you called the Son of God a criminal. Jesus was pure, yet the devil tempted him throughout all his life because Satan knew who he was. Jesus came as God in the flesh to live as a human and see day to day how it was to live as a human. He left his glory in Heaven when he came to earth. Read up on the Bible and read it in full before writing down falsehoods you may have heard from a false prophet because it says in the last days there will be many false prophets. Do your own research and do not depend on heresay. Even come here to the forums if you have questions and someone will answer but it might not be right away as we do not stay on the internet 24/7, but I am sure someone will see your post and answer. I think you owe God and Jesus an apology right now and ask for their gorgiveness through prayer. If you need to know how to pray go to the book of Matthew, chapter 6, verse 9-13. Noah, I agree with you. Danny, Jesus was a criminal of man's law. Yes Jesus is pure, and being a criminal doesn't make you evil. You should not be offended by the truth. The topic of discussion here though is homosexuality, and it's easy to be side tracked when someone says something one doesn't agree with. So, back to the subject: Unfortunately, the Bible can be interpreted in many different ways to conform to what anyone might believe. Therefore, I believe that as long as you treat others with kindness and respect without physically or mentally harming them, study and pray every moment you are called to, carry the beautiful Lord in your heart, and do as best you can to spread his gracious will that you are doing the right thing. God bless homosexuals, heterosexuals, transvestites, or whoever else I will be spending my (our) eternal life with. I also believe that matters of religion and government should be separated. Even though I may not believe the same thing as the Buddist temple teaching in my neighborhood, that doesn't mean that they don't have to right to live and practice in America. It is the freedom we are all granted in the U.S. What you can do however is put forth your best effort to show everyone the truth and trust the Lord to guide you. If you repress the rights of homosexuals as human beings, that means you won't have the chance to witness to them. Everyone deserves the right to marry who they choose to. Imagine if our government didn't allow us as Christians to to practice. The only reason gays haven't been offered same treatment as heterosexuals is because of various religious views among US voters. What if you country was predominantly vegan and it this was part of a religious practice of some sort, do you think it fair to deny the right of all citizens to eat meat?

GOD's view is clearly stated in the Bible. (Acts 21:25, Romans13:13, 1 Corinthians 6:13) Sexual immorality was "normal" and accepted even expected in the Greco-Roman culture. This is why Paul discusses it. Many of these pagans were becoming believers, but they didn't always let go of their former practices so Paul spelled it out for them and for us. This is GOD's word, it doesn't change, the world changes and expects the church to "keep up", but that's why it's worldly. GOD loves sinners, hates sin and expects His children to obey. He will forgive sins if one is repentent. I have read and studied the Bible and I can only conclude that if a homosexual Christian is sexually active that is sin. If a homsexual Christian denies the lust of their flesh and refrains from sexual activity, they are being obedient. Sorry if I've stepped on any toes, but it's in the Bible.
