We can evangelize or socialize. It all depends on whether you are saved or not.

Homosexuality, what is God's view?

There are many "Christian homosexuals" who are not forthright about their homosexuality with their church leaders and fellow churchmen. Some identify with being homosexual but say they are not sexually active and therefore not "in sin". Still others secretly believe that God is okay with their sexual lifestyle so long as it is monogamous and within the context of gay marriage. Is it wrong to tell these different brands of "Christian homosexuals" that they are in sin and must therefore denounce homosexuality as a sin punishable by eternal fire? What about Christians that confuse fellowship with outreach. Is it acceptable to have intimate friendship with homosexuals? What of scriptures like, "be not unequally yoked", or "how can two walk together unless they agree?" Let me hear your thoughts.

I agree with 100% with Damian's post that people turn to homosexuality for acceptance. A sense of comfort and the feeling of being loved and being cared for. So, shouldn't we love homosexual's, shouldn't we as christians show them that they can be accepted and loved by the church? of course they should be accepted into the church, how else can their souls be redeemed, how else can they feel that their are people who love them and that they don''t need to turn to this lifestyle for comfort.
i cant help but wonder, in most cases where people are being delivered from this lifestyle, an evil spirt is always involved, it always involves the pastor rebuking the homosexual spirit from the body, is it possible then that the being is innocent? and if this is so....if homosexual spirits are involved in possessing people and ''making them gay'', how do spirits target people? and i think that they target weak souls....which brings us back to wha damian is saying....this feeling of wanting to be accepted.... it makes us desperate for love....our guards are left down and i believe that satan uses this avenue to send spirits and demons to possess such individuals which makes them turn any way just to be accepted, off course thats what satan wants right... so now we are possessed with this spirit of homosexuality, ofcourse we dont know that and all of a sudden we find someone of the same sex who loves us, cares for us and be there for us.
another thing that has be baffled, when children grow up in abusive homes.... for eg,they see their dad beating up their mom, wont they think that maybe this is what a relationship is...this is what being straight is...afterall we are kids and seeing a man and woman fight so much, maybe this instills in us the thought that a man and a woman maybe arent good together? can this also lead to homosexulty?

I do believe that the spirit of pervertion is also responsible and as for the last part i agree that yes a boy can grow up to be an abusive husband based on his childhood too. Thanks for adding to my response and making it more clear. How would you suggest leaving a gay relationship if both members are ''church attending christians'' and i say church attending because i believe that being a true christian does not only involve attending church on sundays. One partner is ready to change but the other isn't quite ready to leave this lifestyle. What if you were introduced to christ by your gay partner?

Praise God for this teaching! We must pray for all sinners and not classify and judge their sin. I like this guys statement that God is perfectly equiped to judge so we don't have to. If we do we too are sinners!

You are right, it is sin...no need to apologize for your opinion either... :) It clearly talks about it being a sin in the Bible, however you can't forget that all sin is the same in God's eyes and even a man and a woman having sex can be sin if it is done out of marriage...

James, Do you attend Spirit Life Church?? Check out Bobby Torres teaching on Dating vs Courting. I was young once too with your same mind set, but it lead to much pain. Relationships must be able to stand without sex. Once you cross the line, then the relationship does not progress normally because sex is the goal not relationship. Check out this teaching. Talk to some of the other teens on this site. Join the Courting vs Dating group and get yourself educated. God does not place one sin as worse than another sin. homosexuals are a abomonation of desolation as in revelations....(imagine saying that 7 times faster). Sex is a gift desired with the intention of married couples to reproduce and be fruitful. Homosexuals are defiling the temple and they are only satisfying their flesh but when a a man and a female have sex they become one. As in marriage thats why your only supoosed to do it when your married because you became 1.yes it does come with that persons baggage rember when you have sex with that person yur having sex with everyone they had had sex wit thats ho the spirit moved in on the world then Homosexuality starts off with masturbation then u begin to be lover of youself you start liking your own touch next thing you know a little porn and rebellion and your gay. Also it is so antichrist because whenever a baby is born God is glorifed. Satan doesnt want God to be glorifed so wut does he do make you think your gay so you cant procreate thats another reason why Satans mad at us because we can procreate and he cant so most homosexuals are so misrable as Satan is.Another thing why so you think they call themselves gay because they are so unhappy that they have to call themselves something that means happy. ember what you speak becomes real................Theres more.....
