We can evangelize or socialize. It all depends on whether you are saved or not.

There are many "Christian homosexuals" who are not forthright about their homosexuality with their church leaders and fellow churchmen. Some identify with being homosexual but say they are not sexually active and therefore not "in sin". Still others secretly believe that God is okay with their sexual lifestyle so long as it is monogamous and within the context of gay marriage. Is it wrong to tell these different brands of "Christian homosexuals" that they are in sin and must therefore denounce homosexuality as a sin punishable by eternal fire? What about Christians that confuse fellowship with outreach. Is it acceptable to have intimate friendship with homosexuals? What of scriptures like, "be not unequally yoked", or "how can two walk together unless they agree?" Let me hear your thoughts.

All of those verses you posted basically said stay away from sexual immortality as in Romans 13:13

Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.

I may be misunderstanding what you saying, Sexual immortality may of been "normal" but it's normal in todays life to.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God

It is not normal in Gods eyes so the question is who do we obey God are man. God is our creature  and what he gives us in his word is what we are to obey.

Man can not get any one into heaven. God (Jesus) is the only way. That is the problem and has beenevery since creation obedience to God.

What is normal today is not what God desires if it were we as humans could do as we please and still think we can go to heaven.

A little truth in what people don't know and are not taught. There are no pastors and they are not of God if they were they would know that we are under the good news of grace and not the law of Moses.

If they knew this and obey God that would not still be saying they are called by God.

Below is a little scripture for proof.
Heb 8:7 If the first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no need for a second covenant to replace it.
Heb 8:8 But when God found fault with the people, he said: “The day is coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah.
Heb 8:9 This covenant will not be like the one I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand and led them out of the land of Egypt. They did not remain faithful to my covenant, so I turned my back on them, says the LORD.

God says what below. He doesn't say anything about man teaching us. look at verse 11.
So how can they teach us salvation. The new covenant is not one were you have to repent and be baptised.
The new covenant is grace not the law of Moses and if they don't know this then how are people being saved by those who aren't saved themselves.

Heb 8:10 But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day, says the LORD: I will put my laws in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
Heb 8:11 And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying, ‘You should know the LORD.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already.
Heb 8:12 And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.”
Heb 8:13 When God speaks of a “new” covenant, it means he has made the first one obsolete. It is now out of date and will soon disappear.

I accidentally put creature instead of creator so here is what I meant;

It is not normal in Gods eyes so the question is who do we obey God are man. God is our Creator  and what he gives us in his word is what we are to obey.

This discussion should be taught to a child as they come up so that they will know the will of God. Christians parents should have been taught this by their parents.

If there were really pastors they should have taught this in the churches but there are no physical churches in Gods eyes but mans yes.

We Christian are not under the old law. Yes it binds with us forever. but us today are not under it.

Bryant you are correct that we are not under the law of Moses. But according to man we must have the clergy when God has done completely away with them.

So with them supposedly teaching us. They are not teaching anyone salvation. How can someone who doesn't know what the Lord truly says bring salvation to others.

I am not going to put scripture here but read Hebrews 8, you can read the whole chapter but pay very close to verses 10 and 11. Then tell me how can they do what God said he will do.

I forgot one thing they don't even know what a person must believe in order to be saved and what scripture.

They are still using what was for the Jew only when Jesus was alive so how many people have they brought to salvation?

I actually have two gay guyfriends, and I love them as much as I do my straight friends; I don't and never have thought of them as "gay. I just think of them and treat them as friends. I don't really agree with homosexuality and would never dream of being homosexual, but I accept them and treat them like they're normal people like us (mostly because they are). I mean, you're supposed to hate the sin and not the sinner, right?

I agree with what my brother said: If homosexuality was okay with God, people would be able to reproduce with the same gender. They can't, signifying that it is not okay in His eyes. I also agree 100% with what Carol said.

The problem with homosexuality is clearly and blatently spelled out in Romans 1:16-32. I don't know exactly what it says well enough to be able to quote it, but it basically says that man became more obsessed with the creation (themselves) in stead of the creator (God) and tried to rewrite God's rules for us and declared a man could sleep with another man, and woman with another woman. Man became corrupt and their lifestyle will result in disaster.

I don't believe it's wrong to tell homosexuals that they are in sin, though because I have two homosexual friends that I enjoy being around I can't see myself just outright telling someone like that that they're living in sin. The last thing I want to do is make them think I'm alienating them or being judgemental of the lifestyle they've chosen for themselves. I'm not sure where it is in the bible, but it tells us to "Be not judgemental of others lest you yourself be judged"; I'm afraid that if I bring up the fact that they're in sin, it'll come off as being homophobic and judgmental. Something my mother told me also influenced this thought: You're allowed not to like homosexuality, but you have no right to try to run someone else's life and dictate how they should live their life.
You're not being judgemental towards them. Its not like you're telling them hey you are going to hell, cause you really dont know what God has in stored for them. The only thing that you can do is warned them. Read Hebrews 3:13
Well personally I believe that Christians nowadays are too passive when it comes to preaching the gospel.
We have always tried to smooth things over with the sinners, rather than trusting God and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is "The Good News" but we treat it like it's bad news sometimes.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto Salvation, and we need to share with homosexuals what the gospel says. I Corinthians 6:9~ states clearly the sins that will not be tolerated in the Kingdom of Heaven.
If they are not tolerated in Heaven than they shouldn't be tolerated on earth!
Take that to your heart. Know that for yourself. Do not, however, place your judgment on others. We should be loving and compassionate.
Harly, the bible says, that in the last days.... men will not recieve sound doctrine. Now sound doctrine means, a word that will convict somebody spirit. Harley the church is messed up.... we have a lot of sugar coding preaching going on in the church. A lot of preachers preach on about wealth and happiness, which all of that is good; but how can a man or woman in church is fornicating, hears the word, and leave the church and fornicates again. See no spirit of conviction. We living in a time Harley where the church is getting just like hollywood; they trying to perform to much. All i'm trying to say Harley is that the church made their own doctrine, they took scriptures that they believed which was right, and the ones that they didn't agree on, they threw out the window. The bible says that the Word of God is like a two-edge sword. Now speakng on judgemental, we can judge people in the church;Read 1Corinthians 5:1-5. We cannot judge in the world, but we have to warn them. Read Hebrews 3:13. We can judge in the church because, the people of God should know better, but not in the world, because they don't. Be Blessed my sister!!!
Exactly! I believe many churches today are too soft on the subject of homosexuality. It is ok and right and just to say that homosexuality is wrong in Gods eyes. The most loving thing to do for a homosexual would be to tell them they are wrong and headed to hell unless they change their ways.
I have a brother who is a homosexual....still hard to say it. When my dad found out that he was going to hotels and meeting with his "friend", he kicked him out of the house. It is tough cut ties with my stepbrother, however, I support my father's decision.
