We can evangelize or socialize. It all depends on whether you are saved or not.

If Marilyn Manson was God

What do you all think of this quote... I think it makes a tad bit of sense and I don't have a decent argument against it... but I'd like one that'd make some sense.

What happens someday if more people own my record than the bible? That will make me god because a lot more people believe in me than him? Because it's just about popularity. There are plenty of people in the world how have never heard of Jesus, while America takes him for granted. - Marilyn Manson

No, it would not make him God. It would make him a false god. Wrongfully being worshiped. It is not about popularity. It is about Truth. Anything can become a false god. Angels, demons, people, nature, things in nature, elements, ideas, even someone's big toe. What that means is that you are putting whatever before the True God.

yes, this does make some sense..but i might hav a decent argument....while if people adore and follow marilyn manson more than God, that does make him THEIR god....however, that does not make him the one and only, omnipresent and powerful God that created the heavens and the earth, who knows the truths of the world and has named every hair on our head and has sent his son to die for our sins to give us eternal life....He is the TRUE God...and if society decides to hold something else above Him, and make that THEIR personal God, they are denying themselves of the living water....not to mention its just foolish because standing next to He who has wonders beyond our imagination, everything and everyone else just pales in comparison.
