I am forever amazed at the counter - culture that is taking over America and embracing the "everything goes" attitude. Seems that everything that America once stood for is now being mocked in the media and encouraged by so many in the mainstream of the public eye. What once was America's strong attempt to nuture its citizens the way the Bible stated now is politically incorrect. Even those who believe strongly in Biblical principles and values are rarely brave enough to speak up against this onslaught on what the Bible clearly spells out as sin.
Tonight, I listened to Carrie Prejean, Miss California and First Runner Up to Miss America, in her interview with James Dobson. Her testimony attests to something we all need to recognize...under fire, in the Lime-light, in front of the crowd, could we recognize the opportunity given us and use the moment for God's glory? I wish I could have put the clip on this site, but since I couldn't figure that out , I have copied the link for you to go to Focus on the Family and hear Part 1 of this interview. I have often have told my son and daughter, that I hope and pray that if someone put me in a corner, I would stand strong and tall on my faith and not faulter. Carrie Prejean is in that corner now. Listen.....then decide, what if you were put in that corner? How strong would your faith be? http://www.focusonthefamily.com/popups/media_player.aspx?ShowPath=F... I heard this over the radio and could only Praise the Lord. The Holy Spirit gives us all this courage if we have accepted Jesus as our Savior. It saddens me when churches comprimise Biblical principals to boost membership under the cover of diversity. Oh that we could be like Jesus in that he mingled with sinners to bring them to repentance and many responded. As for me when I left my sinful life, my friends rejected me. Jesus promised that He would never leave or forsake us, and that's the truth. So stand boldly, be rejected and ridiculed and know Jesus is still loving you.
