REVIVAL IN KENYA.

Kenya is a beautiful country.It is a nation that is rich in culture having more than 42 tribes of different languages . Though most of last year we were faced with challenges when violence erupted due to disputed general elections.But now God is doing a new thing altogether.There is a wave of revival sweeping over our country.Two weeks ago we held an international prayer conference attended by christians from different countries.Many people came and prayed for God to heal our nation and bring revival to the church.Last week there was another prayer movement in our town of Eldoret which was facilitated by Jesus is Lord Radio and the Repent Kenya team.Note that in this same city of Eldoret during the violence we went down on record having people burned to death inside a church.Women and children were raped and abused.Infact Eldoret stood to receive the worst of punishment from God.But instead he has shown us his grace.On the last prayer movement hundreds of thousands of people came out to pray.In different languages and styles they prayed.It was my first time to see people in prayer rally wearing sackclothes and in ashes.During the prayer many people got healed even without anybody laying hands on them.Many who were blind received sight.Those who came being carried on wheelchairs went home carrying their wheelchairs and those who had no feet went home dancing!Then i remebered that many renowned evangelists who had come to Kenya before had spoken of Eldoret as a revival spring that will reach to the world.Starting from the days of Billy Graham,T.L.Osbond,Benny Hinn and even Reinard Bonke had spoken of this.Then i realized that God has given us so much in Eldoret and its time we reach to the rest of the world.I know its not only here that we are seeing the wind of revival.Its happening everywhere in the world.In your town,in your village and in your household.We are the small flames of fire from every corner and God is putting us together and we will be a great fire that cant be quenched and the gates of hell will not privail against us.That is the reason you are here today.You are part of this revival.Be therfore strong and courageous,God is counting on you!
