Sounds like a great idea. I know one of the problems was with finances so it would have to be something that did not take a lot of money! Then the next problem was with time off from work as we were planning on leaving Thursday through Saturday. This also brings in problems with getting baby sitters, etc. Do you have any ideas that would help with these problems?
I was thinking if we would be able to go somewhere in the evening and do things that would be fun and have time to just relax together and maybe have a devotional - and do this for a few evenings or something. That is one idea. It would just have to be somewhere special so it not same old, you know?
Anyway it might help to do research to find things that are not expensive, fun, places to go, etc.

We really need a couple's ministry at our church, and i'm trying to take a step of faith to help get this ministry started. So many couples are hurting because they know what to do.
