Beautiful

Tis much to say

That cannot be said

Or on canvas painted or written

As if midnight burst

into blinding light

and the deepest darkness did glisten

As if falling stars

from heavens afar

were to halt and settle content

So to write of the beauty

That dwells within you

"forever" would likely be spent

Such beauty cannot

by ink or by phrase

be captured or held tight and near

Yet I'll try as I may

with whispers of love

to speak of your beauty my dear.
