Come In

The world at our backs
With pressed shirts and clean slacks
Beckons and calls and proclaims
That our truth is its fiction.
And with impeccable diction
Knowledge is in its eminent domain

And yet it is in our hands to decide
Whether to live or whether to die
Under this wicked regime
Because in our hearts
within its infinite parts
Flows a living and joyous stream

Freedom, we cry until our last breath,
Is found only in death
Of ourselves and the passions within
Desperate for change
We called on His name
And found ourselves born once again

With Paradox built as a foundation
For our great nation
Of leaders and servants in one
We run in a race
Where first is last place
And our goal is to become like the Son

And today here we stand
Arm in Arm, Hand in Hand
Inviting one such as you to come in.
Our desire is to see
The entire Earth set free
From a life of depression and sin.

The only way is through Jesus the Christ
The one who died, and returned to life
A victor over sin and shame
Our prayer is this:
You'll accept the gift
And we'll rejoice and praise just the same
