In Your Presence

In my place of confusion
Not realizing a way of freedom
Stuck in stagnant waters floating
No motivation, no reason
I remained

I felt alone and abandoned
Tried and failed many times
That thing I thought I had conquered
Kept returning to me
Again and again

But in Your presence
In that mighty anointing
I found peace of mind
In Your presence
The power flowing
Renewing my strength
Giving all that I am to You

You’re the Way of freedom
I’ll keep my eyes fixed on You
I’m focused and I’m moving forward
You’re taking me to new places


You called me out of darkness
And into Your glorious light
Beyond my constant frustration
And into Your complete satisfaction
