ode' to the lord

looking up he takes me into his arms and holds me close to his heart

i feel the love in his embrace and know that he is always with me

my soul shall not be still my mouth shall not be silent

for i shall shout it from the rooftops of what his love has done for me

he is my lord and savior and i will not be silent...no..i will not be silent

i will cast every devil and demon out of the darkest night

out of every corner of every childs nightmare for he is my strength he is my refuge

for if god be for me..who can be against me?

i will never falter i will keep my eyes on you oh lord!

it is to you i sing priase it is to you i lift my cup

i will walk the raging waters of this world and keep sight on you

and keep faith in my heart that i am on the path of the lord

and as long as i am walking on your path, you will guide my steps

you will use me as a glove oh lord to do your holy work upon this earth

until the day you call me home, it is your destiny for me lord

i surrender to you, i give my whole self to you body mind and soul 

until the day you call me home into your loving embrace
