We can evangelize or socialize. It all depends on whether you are saved or not.

Now that the election is decided, we all need to stand together and pray for our president, our president-elect, and our nation. We need to set aside political preferences and focus on asking God's blessings on our leaders and our country.

Our President Elect: May he be guided by the Lord in his Presidency.

1 Timothy 2:1-8

1 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all men—the testimony given in its proper time. 7 And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying—and a teacher of the true faith to the Gentiles.

In the might name of Jesus I stand in for the new elected President of the United States of America,and i pray for anointing upon him and all who are working as his helpers,I pray that his ears and heart be open to Your guidance and that Your Will in his life is what he seeks so that he can bring America to where it needs to be,and I give You all the Glory in advance for this.

His good friend Bob Casey, Senator from Pennsylvania is a pro-life democrat and was invited to speak at the convention. This was a big step as previous democrats would not permit such a person to speak for them. This already speaks volumes about Obama. Remember, God can change a heart: He changed Saul's heart (1 Sam 9), the hearts of Saul's men (1 Sam 10:26), He gave Solomon wisdom and understand and largeness of heart (1 Kings 4:29). God even used heathen Kings to accomplish His work for His people (Ezra 7:27). The grace of God is necessary to change men's hearts and lives. I pray that God will remove the scales from his eyes and get right to his heart.

I pray the hand of God over the people of the United States to open minds and hearts to your knowledge and light. Comment by Ivan on December 22, 2008 at 2:13am: The Lord says this is but the start and much more will follow,but we have the key,and through prayer and love not hatred or wishing bad things even upon our enemies,for you are actually being decieved if you follow this path.Look upon the road you walk before you walk it for herein lays the pathway to the kingdom,Love Cures All,Love is the Key for in Love there can be no denial,for Love is eternal and Love is who I Am!
