I will be glad to turn on your phone when your house pastor says it is ok for you have it. From what I understand during this part of the program you are not allowed to have a phone. My desire is to support and encourage you and we are going to have to follow the rules. They have been doing this for a while and we are going to have to trust they know what they are doing. I know it is hard and I know you miss her and she misses you! Your goal of getting well will be the very best thing for your relationship and future.

I so love hearing from you. Your note gives me much hope, God really does change us when we let Him. I know you miss Kayla, just write her a letter and tell her all about what you are learning and how you are changing. Writing is a wonderful way to communicate! Thanks. I stayed in Upper East Side for three months in an internship, then after some weeks I felt that I knew there was the other side of NY that I wanted to see and experience and I volunteered at a homeless shelter cooking and washing dishes and just talking with the people, it was quite an experience! God bless you and walk with you in his steps.

Hey Chili, I have been thinking about you today. I pray it was a good and productive day! Looking forward to talking to you about the new program. I am very interested in it, how it works and how it is going to help you when you come home. I will gladly turn your phone on as soon as I get the ok from your house pastor. Go talk to him about how you feel and maybe a solution can be figured out so you can talk to Kayla. In the meantime, just write her a letter each night- I tell you it is a great thing to do. It really helps you to think through what you are going through, how you feel, how the program is helping you, and what God is teaching you. All the kinds of things she needs to read and re-read; she needs to be your support system when you come home! I love you, and my most important goal is for you to leave the program ready to face your felony charges and the possibility of jail time. If you leave the program early, unprepared to face the trials and temptations here in Tulsa, you will go back into your previous life, you will get caught, you will go to jail. It will then be to late to realize your time in Arizona was nothing compared a future in prison with a felony record. God is at work in your heart and life right now, he needs time to heal you and draw you toward him. He wants you to be so focused on pleasing Him- drugs and money won't even be a temptation any longer. If you and Kayla are meant to be together forever- then this time of healing in Arizona will only make your relationship richer and stronger and enduring. Don't cut this short, I know you and you are always in a hurry to get things over with :-) just like homework- not sure it will work like that this time.

I give you my word Adrian, you will not stay out in Arizona one day longer than God wants you there AND you will not stay one day shorter. Lets first be thankful that Our God has placed you in a WONDERFUL place. It was rough the first day. But God in all His wisdom has placed you in the men's house for a time of spiritual healing. A time to reconnect with God, a time to truly decide if you will follow Him no matter what the cost. . . . . . I love you Adrian with all my heart. And as a mother the most blessed thing I can do for you right now is to allow GOD to direct your future. I'm confident the Lord has a perfect plan for your life, therefore I have totally given you over to His sovereign will. I won't be deciding if or when you come home- He will !!!! And that is a wonderful feeling for me. You are allowing God to work on your heart and you are acting responsible, now just let God decide how long you stay. I already have your return ticket purchased- God just needs to give us the date!
