Spiritual Boot Camp

Spiritual Boot Camp is a three-week intense discipleship and training in which Christian students are encouraged to seek the face of God. SBC gives students hands on experience with ministry that will equip and commission them with powerful tools.

Profile Information

My Testimony (about me): I am a mother of 3 beautiful children. I have been married for 17yrs wonderful years.

Life however wasn't always so great....
I came from a divored family. I lived with my father most of my life. He was an alcoholic and very abusive for most of my life. My mother was not around all the time. I watched her become involved in abusive relationships and become remarried eventualy. This man ended up molesting my sister and myself when we were younger. I carried all of that pain and never told anyone till I was a young adult. I had pushed all the pain down very deep. I turned to sex, drugs, smoking and alcohol to heal the pain but it never did. I became pregnant at age 17 and had my 1st child 2 weeks before graduating highschool. I was not married, but we did live together. We began to fight and ended up breaking up. Living as a single mother for a few months before I met my husband. We began a new journey in life. I realized a few years after being married that I had to give those things up. I searched for things in the world to make me happy but they never did. I began to realize that I was unhappy and nothing seemed to make my problems better.

I was so hurt and wounded that trusting people became a major problem for me. I also realized that rebellion became a major issue in my life as well. I pushed away people who loved me most, not even realizing it. In the process I hurt them too. I became filled with anger and rage at times and could not understand what was wrong.

As I began a relationship with The Lord and let him heal my heart, my life began to change. I finally began to understand the love of God. But it was only through death to myself.

I went through major storms for example my son believing he was gay. We are very familiar from a parents end to have a prodigal child, and to have the victory over the enemy! However, they also need to choose to walk in that victory. Today he is chosing to live his life the way he wants. I believe he knows the truth and will one day return to everything the Lord has for him.

Through everything I have ever went through it always made me stronger. I have learned that GOD is real! He does care! and without Him I am nothing!

As I began to let the Lord heal my heart I began to see the real truth in my life and in my families life. Ecspecially my children!
I had a purpose for being here and it was to serve The Lord! I have dedicated everything that I am to Him! I live in a relationship of love and intimacy with My Lord! He took what was broken and fixed it. He healed all the hurts and replaced it with His love.

There is no better feeling on earth! Than a relationship with the King!
