My Testimony (about me)

Well my testimony...... I grew up in house that went to church on Sundays, sometimes and that was as close to being a Christian as it got. Naturaly when iI got older I didnt go to church or honestly wanted anything to do with God. I always new He existed because when times got tuff I would cry out to God.My parents divorced when I was 6 and I stayed with my Dad who was and alcoholic.I can look back now and see how God preserved me from getting into drugs but I did like to drink .I got married to my stil wife Angel in 1992. This is one of those hidden blessings because if I would have stayed single , who knows what would have happened.Everything was just great and then my Dad died in 1997 on Labor day. This rocked my world. How could God take my Dad , my best freind.I went through a period of depression .I dove deeper into my work with a attitude of this was going to make me happy. Well guess what? it didnt. I knew ther was something missing but what? 9-11-01 this is what scared the hell out of me. I knew enough about God and Jesus to know that if I was in the World Trade Center or on one of those planes I would have went to Hell and it scared me.The next Sunday we were in church and 2to 3 month later we were living for God . I can truely say that this is what was missing in my life. Being on fire for God has cost me alot, but worth evrything lost for what was gained.
