Hey Jimmy,

I just had to think of a story that happened a while ago. I got to know a man who was really big, I mean really, really big. Walking outside, there were a couple young guys calling him names. I felt bad for the guy, but he just smiled and told the boys: I might be fat, but you are ugly and I can loose weight whenever I decide to.
Now this was not a Christian, but the story shows a couple things. First: a lot has to do with how you look at things and what you focus on. Don’t let others put you down and determine how you feel. Most of the time people pick on the weaknesses of others, so they don’t think about their own and feel better about themselves. If you understand that, it doesn’t have such an impact on you anymore. There are a lot of big people that are confident with themselves. Second: there are things in life you can change and there are things you can’t change and your weight is something you can definitely change. Your pic is a little blurry, but you look like a very handsome young man to me.
I was not big when I was young, but I was a loser. I think the effects and feelings are very similar. I actually didn’t want to live anymore. Out of pure frustration I talked to God and told him: I don’t believe you are real, but in case you are, you can have my life, because I don’t find it of any use anyway. God took advantage of that prayer and took over my life. Suddenly I didn’t feel like a loser anymore, I felt like a winner. One time I dropped something valuable and the old feelings wanted to come back again. Inside of me was a little war going on: winner, loser, no winner, no loser … God interrupted this conflict by asking me: When you were a loser, did you lose everything and all the time. Of cause not, I answered. But that didn’t stop you from being a loser, did it?, God asked me. No, was my answer already assuming where this would go. So why should one failure stop you from being a winner?, He asked.
I had a lot of things going wrong in my life after that, but never again did I allow loser thoughts like that in my life. I used to have problems understanding technical stuff and then I started to fix cars and became so good I was considering it as a profession. I used to be really bad in languages, English and German and the teachers told my parents that I am just one of those guys that doesn’t have the capacity for it. Today I am a publisher, I have teachers translate for me and I tell them what they did wrong.
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD!!! Get to know him and you will start to see yourself with his eyes and everything will change.

Brandon, I want to tell you that when it comes to the love of God there is no need for confusion. You have been fearfully and wonderfully made by God. You are a man of God because that is what God has called you to be. let me tell you when you begin to walk as a man of God, you will have all the peace and joy and confidence you need. When that perfect time comes that perfect person will come and you will be blessed. Still being a virgin and not being kissed by a girl is awesome!! You should rejoice and be very proud of that! I commend you so don't dare look at that as a bad thing. You have to see yourself through the eyes of God and you will love yourself the way God does.
