My Testimony (about me)

I first gave my life to The Lord when I was 12 yrs old. I attended a christian school and was taught about Jesus and my love for Him began to grow. I did all I could to live a life that was pleasing in His eyes, and being in a christian environment the majority of the day, it was easy. Even though my family are catholics, I was put in a christian school because that was the only school that would accept me w/o school records which my previous school held since my parents werent able to finish paying the tuition . I attended that school til my 8th grade year, but again my parents could no longer afford to pay the tuition. That is when I was forced to go to public high school, and when my backsliding began. I felt the Lord had sent me to public school to lead the teenagers there to Christ... but I quickly was influenced by the ways of the world and abandoned my faith so that I could fit in. I only lasted one school year there, that is when I began getting sick w/ severe panic attacks, anxiety disorder, and depression. I started isolating myself, hardly leaving the house, overwhelmed with fear, of what I dont even know. I didn't go back for my sophomore year. I had dropped out. Things just keep getting worse until I was taken to "dr" who prescribed me Paxil and Xanax, I ended up worse then better. I started abusing the meds, taking them more then I was supposed to just to get a high, and even just to stay asleep all day so I wouldnt have to wake up and deal with my "problems". I became so miserable that I started cutting myself frequently. At the time, not trying to commit suicide, just hurt myself because i was so unhappy. I then met my boyfriend, now husband, Eric. Things started off pretty good, but eventually, with my emotional instability, a simple argument would turn into me, trying to commit suicide because I didn't know how to deal any other way. It got to the point where I was trying to kill myself every other day, cutting myself daily. I knew the only way out was to come back to God, but I thought I was way too broken too be fixed, and I had developed a guilt and felt God no longer loved me or wanted me back. Later my husband had been locked up, and that is when I hit my lowest, and I was the most broken I had ever been. I felt so alone. But that time alone gave me time to think, and I had decided that enough was enough. I didn't want to live my life that way anymore. I didn't want to keep running from God. I knew inside that I was headed for a self inflicted death. It was then at the age of 23, alone in my apt. with my husband in jail I called out to God to save me, to come back into my heart. I was rededicating my life to Christ, and my husband was finding God at the same time. By God's grace, he was released after serving a month and a half after being given a 5 year sentenced. I now know it was in God's plan to separate us to deal with us alone. When He got our attention, He bought us back together. When my husband was released we started attending a church we had walked by the day before he was locked up. We now have wonderful pastors, and their wives are a blessing. I was instantly delivered and my chains were broken free. I was happy again, after so long. My husband and I got married shortly after, and the Lord blessed us with a beautiful baby girl whom doctors said I could never have. She is now 16 months old, and she herself has a testimony of her own. Since she was born she has been struck with one sickness after another. She's had an abscess grow in the wall of her chest which had to be surgically removed at two weeks old. She had pertussis, rota virus, asthma, bronchitis, kidney and bladder problems... all of which God has completely healed her of. I know the devil was trying to take her out because he has a mighty women of God who he is gonna have to watch out for when she gets older. I knew all I had to do was rebuke each sickness in the name of Jesus each time and that sickness had to flee!
