My Testimony (about me): My name is Brandon, and I live in Dover, NC with my wonderful wife Jacky, and our beautiful daughter, Rachel. I'm what's known as a separatist. That is, I believe that a Christian should live a separated life. There should be a strong, visible difference between a Christian and one who does not know Christ. I am also a fundamentalist. That is, I hold to, believe, and defend the fundamentals of the Christian faith. I believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, the death, burial, and bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the personal, visible return in glory and power of the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe the Bible is the Word of God, and that throughout the ages He has preserved His Word. I believe that the King James Version is the most accurate English Translation, and that all modern English translations are corruptions of God's Word, as they remove whole or partial scriptures, change the meanings of scriptures, and deny certain fundamental truths. I believe in the resurrection of the dead, both saved and unsaved, to be judged. Those who have followed Christ will be resurrected to eternal life, and those who have served the sinful desires of the flesh will be resurrected to everlasting torment. I reject the modernistic view that one can be a Christian and live in sin due to the fact that we live under grace. This is contrary to sound doctrine as taught in the scriptures. I believe our churches today are filled with people who are unsaved and on their way to hell, fully believing they are born-again Christians, yet they love the things of this world more than the things of God, and have never repented of sin. They have been deceived by the modernistic, worldly view of Christianity which is practiced by so many today, and it is the duty of the true believers to teach and preach the gospel, and to live holy, separated lives, that the blindness may be removed from their hearts, and they may truly find salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Finally, I reject the idea that Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh-Day Adventists, Christian Scientists, or Catholics are Christian. Each one either adds to or takes away from the true teachings of God's Word, and teach some alternate way to come to God other than that which is outlined in God's Word. Furthermore, I reject the idea that their various literature, such as The Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price, Doctrine and Covenants, New World Translation, etc, are revelations from God, as all of them contradict the teachings of the Word of God, and all have been found to be scientifically, historically, and archaeologically inaccurate. I believe most people who follow these cults are well meaning people, who have unfortunately allowed themselves to be deceived by ignoring or rejecting the convictiion of the Holy Spirit, but nevertheless, by adhering to, teaching, and spreading their un-Biblical beliefs, are doing the work of their father the Devil, and must not be allowed to fellowship with true Christianity in any way, shape, or form.
