Profile Information

My Testimony (about me): For the last few years I hve been straying away from God. I grew up around a Christian family and went to church faithfully but I still wanted to do the things that made me feel good. I started smoking weed about two years ago because my friends at work were doing it and I enjoyed the feeling of getting high. It took me getting my car searched and going to jail about 2 and a half months ago for me to realize that there was a problem that needed to be corrected. I also had a problem with lust that was almost taking over my life.I have had problems with watching sexual things on TV and looking for pornographic things on the Internet. I have even gone to relatives houses and used their pay-per-view channels to watch these kinds of things. The Devil kept putting these types of things in my mind to distract me from God.I also fornicated with a girl that a friend at work set me up with and I was paying her to have sex with me. All these things were putting a strain on my family. It got to where me and my dad would hardly talk to eachother. I had been threatened to be kicked out of my home several times. At one point, my dad even said that he would go and legelly disown me and have my last name changed. He has even told me that he was ashamed to have the same name as me. After I got busted with the weed, my mom asked me would it be a good idea to come out here so I could find a purpose in my life. I really didn't like the idea at first because I still wanted to do the things that made me feel good. One night when I went to sleep, God told me not to hesitate and to make the plans to go to Arizona. I often look at the examples of what God has done in my cousins Evan and Wes Peacock's lives and it has helped me realize that through him everything is possible. My advice to people that are lost is that if God is tugging at your heart to get saved, do not hesitate! You never know what day could be your last. Like Nike says "JUST DO IT!!!".
