Profile Information

My Testimony (about me): And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony and they loved not their lives even to the point of death. Rev 12:11. Now this is the third time I am posting my testimony, this time it won't be erased mid sentence! So I was born into an environment full of drugs, alchohol, abuse and neglect. The reason I go back so far into my childhood is to show His miraculous saving power demonstrated in my life. In and out of foster homes I was practically tortured physically and emotionally. Being adopted by five years old, I was violent full of rage and hate and no longer innocent. By seventh grade I was getting expelled for smoking. I drank and did drugs among other degrading things. In my rebellion and dispair, I ended up in rehab for three months at the age of thirteen. At sixteen I was out of control and again a ward of the state. I became pregnant at seventeen and again at eighteen. My boyfriend and i were just alike. We met when he was at a group home and I in a foster home. We were both very violent and he comitted suicide when the kids were one and two years old. And there I went , devistated, broken hearted, and alone again, I drank a bottle of valium. I was air lifted to the hospital and by the grace of God I lived but was still unsaved. Because I refused to accept the finallity of his death, the enemy lured me into witch craft with the expectation of seeing my loved one again. I fell very hard into card readings and other such divinition. I became addicted to the thrill and again to drugs. The two went hand in hand. At 23 I was in another violent relationship, and pregnant. This boyfriend choked me till he thought I was dead. A jury found him guilty of aggravated assault and he went to prison. So there I was pregnant, alone again and desperate. So I called a friend I knew from a womens clinic. She suggested a Christian Maternity Home. I didn't know what that was so I accepted the envite. By the 5th or 6th day the Lord met me at the dinner table and I envited Jesus into my heart. Talk about spiritual growth! Within 2 weeks I was filled with the spirit of God and praying in tongues! My walk with Jesus has been filled with battles as well as victories. But even when I fall I can get back up because I wear Jesus' righteoussness like a robe(Isaiah 61:10). The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall he shall not be utterly cast down for the Lord upholdeth Him with His hand.(Psalm37:23,24) Of everything I've experienced in my life, Jesus Christ is the only way truth and life.
