My brother and i lived in fear that one morning we were going to wake up and find our mother dead, her boyfriend was physically abusive and i just remember hating myself and him so much. I had fantasies of killing him, and then myself. I remember watching helplessly as he nearly strangled my brother to death, and the look on my brothers face will forever be etched into my mind. I was EXTREMELY suicidal, got mixed up in the wrong crowd, began partying, going to rock concerts, dressing in gothic clothing, etc. The emptiness inside me became so bad that i actually contacted people online (i found snuff fantasy type sites) and began giving my personal information out to people who wanted to end my life.

AS A LAST RESORT, I DROPPED DOWN AND CRIED OUT TO GOD!!! I just told him to please take my life and make me better, HEAL ME!! AND THIS PRESENCE WASHED OVER ME!!!! I felt this warm energy run through my body, i had goosebumps up and down my arms, my hair was standing on end AND I COULDN'T STOP SMILING!!!! I felt so ALIVE AND SO AT PEACE! Like God was telling me everything was going to be ok and that He loves me and has a plan for my life. JESUS I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND I THANK YOU FOR THE INTERVENTION!!! I have since turned away from my dark lifestyle and although i still dress in spikes and dark clothing (punk/scene style), I AM HERE TO WORSHIP THE LORD WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL!!

Thanks again for the request, my family is actually doing better now. My mom found another guy whom makes her REALLY happy (she split with the abusive guy because --go figure--he turned out to be a pedophile). So we have all made great progress.
