Profile Information

My Testimony (about me): My name is Jack i am 20 years old I live in peoria i have been here for about 3 years now. I live with my aunt and uncle and my lil bro. I have been in church for about 6 years but i fell away from God, i got my fire back and now i am doing gr8. So i grew up in a lil town called Center in Colorado it was like one big ghetto. My mom and dad broke up when i was about 7 we lived with my mom for a few years me my bro and my sister.

My mom always had guys over who would beat her and leave, so me and my brother and my sister spent alot of time at the park so we would not have to see this. We would sleep there some nights in the play ground if it was not cold out. I would still things just to get money to feed my lil brother cuz he was just like 4 so me and my sister had to keep him safe. My dad got us out of this after about 2 years but he was all into his new wife so he did not spend time with us but now we didn't have to worry about sleepin outside we had food and a bed to sleep in so it was ok. My step-mom did not like us she would groud me and my sister for a long time for stupid things but it was not a go to your room kind of grounding it was sit at the table don't talk no tv no phone no games no nothing i was grounded for 2 and a half years for getting a D in school.

I moved to Trinidad Colorado when i was 11. I last seen my mom when i was 12 years old she stoped talking to me and my brother so it has been about 8 years now and i don't ever want to see her again. But anyways i started doing drugs in the 6th grade started drinking in the 7th. I was in with a gang because i felt like they cared about me so i felt good chillin with them because i never had anyone care about me. So i did drugs till i got into high school cuz i got in some trouble. I would steal atm cards and get money for drugs and this started in the 8th grade no one found out for a while till my sister set me up then it was all over i jacked about $2,000 and they found out.

After that my dad got a brain tumor and almost died they told us we would probly lose him b4 the night was over but thank God he made it. We started going to church and i spent all my time at church i was on fire for God i got saved in November of 2003. I was doing good no more drugs no more drinking nothin then my dad got sick again. This time it was bad and he died on December 16th 2004 2 days later and in would have been 2 years to the day after he got sick the first time. After that the youth pastor of my church moved away and he was like my best friend i was always at there house or he was at mine we would go fishing go to the movies just chill and play games and then just like that he was gone a few months after my dad died so i felt like i had lost everything but i did have my best friend Janelle. I was not thinkin and i moved away to Virginia with my aunt and uncle, and i took my brother with me. Now i was 17 so i could get a job i had worked for a while b4 i moved just so i would have a lil bit of money.

I got baptized in a river in Virginia and i felt like everythng was perfect. We lived there for about 4 months and my brother got us kicked out. That was when i started to fall from God we had no place to stay we spent the night in a hotel, but the next day my Aunt from AZ came and got us we had got on a plane and flew to Texas then to New Mexico and thats when my aunt picked us up and gave us a new home we had no home for 2 dayz it was the longest 2 days of my life. i was still going to church but i was not into it because i didn't want to get into it and have to move again.

About a month ago i left the church i was going to cuz i got nothing from it and started going to Spirit Life Chuch and i like it alot. The first day i was there i changed i got my fire back i got home that night and got all my cds and put them in a bag i was done with rap music but i still wanted to listen to it so i dumped all the cds out and broke them one by one i feel like that's what was holding me back cuz now i feel gr8 i am always happy and i have not listend to that music for almost a month now . Here i am now and i need more i am not going to give up again I need more i am addicted to God and i am not going to give up. God gave me a second chance and i am not going out without a fight i will die b4 i fall away from my God again i thank God he never let me go even after i let go, he was there and i am goin to do what ever he calls me to do

I'm going to tell young people from broken homes to go to your website and read your testimony. You should join the evangelism group and they will show you how to make business cards that promote our church and your lifespace profile so that they can be encouraged by your testimony. There is one thing that can hurt you and that is the negative confession of calling yourself aka Mafia and sticking your tongue out. It doesn't match with your testimony. Anyways I praise God for you.
