My Testimony (about me)

I was baptized in my early teens and have since stepped away from God. I have been working on renewing my relationship with God for the past several years. I have come to the conclusion that I need more Christ centered people in my life and less secular people to be influenced by.

My husband and I started our relationship together with Godly influence and God has truly blessed me by bringing him into my life. Add some kids and I have never laughed so much.

As I step closer to God, I feel like Satan is aiming flaming arrows at my back. I know that it is his attempt to derail my attempts to have a relationship with God. I found an awesome church that I have committed to and find that I have had more joy in the past year amidst all of the trials that we have been through. I have sinned and I have asked to be forgiven of my sins and I am weak, but HE makes me strong, for I am not alone.

I just found a blog on this site that I needed to read about patience, hope and waiting. Boy did I need to read that. I can see that this site will influence me for a long time to come. May God bless you.
