My Testimony (about me)

Welcome to my Lifespace page, kick back, relax and let me tell you a little bit about Justin. I'm originally from Chicago and relocated here to Phoenix summer of 09 pretty much following my wife n kids. I was one of those people that thought me and God were cool, yea I did my lil dirt but I wasn't half as bad as a lot of people I knew. I went to church every now an again said my prayers you know the lil things that I thought mattered. I grew up going to church but once I got to be a teenager they pretty much let me decide for myself. So of course like every other typical teen I knew I choose to hang out with my friends rather then attend church. Got into a lot of fornication, hanging out late, cursing, fighting skipping class just doing a lot of crazy stuff that I always figured was normal. Graduated went to technical college were I got back in contact with one of my best friends in high school (who is now y wife). She invited me to come to church with her one day, well actually she asked for a ride and kinda talked me into staying, I fit the typical thug persona braids, baggy cloths, load music so needless to say that didn't go over to well with most of the church folk so that was my excuse not to go back but Jasmine just kept conveniently needing a ride so I would go and either be at the restaurant across the street or in the back sleep eventually I got use to being there then I got a new job so my excuse was I had to work or I was tired, did that for a long time went around making pretty bad decisions. Which brings me here Jasmine's job offered her a transfer to Phoenix, reluctantly I came along mostly cause I figured I'd miss her and the kid. First got down here nothing seemed to be going right. the place we were suppose to be moving into said no at the last second cause they couldn't verify my income my job which was also suppose to transfer fell threw cause work was slower down here, so basically I was down here in a new place didn't know anybody, wasn't working, had a kid on the way. I wanted nothing more then to go back to Chicago and beg for my old job back and go back to this good life I thought I had. I honestly thought I was being punished, I thought God took away everyone I knew and everything I had worked for and dropped me in the middle of the desert with nothing. But as you can see I'm still here things are getting better but I'm still what u would call a work in progress. I'm not quite were i'm going nut I'm also not were i'd been.
