My Testimony (about me)
I was born and raised as a traditional roman catholic through traditional means. I spent most of my younger adult life always with the wrong women ,(I seem to have a habit of wanting to "save" women from bad situations not necessarily bad women), yet unable to gather strength enough to walk away like many of my friends. I had desire but no direction emotionally, spiritually and intelligently. My relationships were few and the time spent in between long & lonely. It wasn't until almost 14 years ago when I would come into contact with a born again christian that I too would be born again. While catholics believe in the same one god as christians (they are christian like but not true christians) they (me at one time) are a blind leading the blind group. It is by mere fact educated to us by Martin Luther that the Roman Catholic church even to this day leans more on the Roman Empire side than christianity. My friend Emad would spend six years being patient, slowly chipping away at my archaic beliefs, testing me until one day I began to ask questions. I started a long road of educating myself theologically and historically only to become frustrated that what I thought I knew was so far from accurate and only a fraction of the truth. The final straw was a relationship with a woman who became pregnant and chose to have an abortion against my own desire of raising the child on my own all because she wanted the picture dream of tall, dark & handsome, large house, white picket fence and 2.5 kids. A woman of 39. I was used for my money and thrown away. I fell down on my knees submitted everything to god and began my life as a born again christian. I left the Catholic church and join my friend at his. Since then I have been married to someone god chose and have two beautiful daughters that make me laugh a little every day. I never thought I could have so much love and laughter in my life. Now I am not perfect, I have sinned but I chose to fight and push back Satan's a little everyday to get as close to God as humanly possible BEFORE I die. This is why my life is a continuous work in progress.
