My Testimony (about me)
Growing up I went through a lot. I suffered a lot of emotional trauma. I carried this emotional trauma into my life decisions which fostered more advanced trauma into my life. What I didn’t realize my decisions were tarnishing my life! These decisions made me believe that I was an insignificant person, a doormat and yes even like yesterday’s trash, not wanted and thrown away.
In 1972, I gave my heart to Jesus; however I did not start living for Jesus until 1995 when Jesus rescued me out of my pit that I had buried myself into. I was no longer separated from God and I truly had a spiritual renewal. I now have hope and a reason to live. I stopped taking detours and found the right path that I was always designed to be living on.
My life today is full of Jesus’ light and I am someone who is loved, wanted and cared for. When you chose the correct path and live for Jesus, he will use you in mighty ways that you could never comprehend before.
God has used my past experiences, to allow me to be his vessel. He uses my past and my present to help those in need. Without those experience I would not be the person that I am today.

As the deer panths

serif" size="2"">As the deer

longs for streams of water,

so I long for you, O God.

I thirst for God, the living God.

When can I go and stand before him? Psalms 42:1-2

As the life of a deer depends upon water, so our lives depend upon God. Those who seek him and long to understand him… Continue

One taste of perfection

Dear Lord, one taste of perfection is not enough. Even the hint of Your nearness sparks unspeakable longing for more. I confess that I am weak, defective, ineffective and lost without You. You are the Water for which I thirst, the Bread for which I hunger. You are my Hope, my Joy, and my Chief Desire. Hear the words of Your humble servant....feel the beat of my heart for You! In the precious name of Jesus I offer this, my heart's cry for this day. Amen

Grace to Believe

Father, I thank you for giving me the grace to believe in you and your Word even in the midst of the storms of life, providing a place of rest for me. In the midst of seemingly impossible demands, deadlines and tasks at hand, my heart is steadfast, fixed trusting in you. Your strength and boldness are released to me as I confidently rest in your promises. In your presence I am refreshed, restored and renewed in Jesus' name. Amen.

Pleasure in God

If your heart takes more pleasure in reading novels, or watching TV, or going to the movies, or talking to friends, rather than just sitting alone with God and embracing Him, sharing His cares and His burdens, weeping and rejoicing with Him, then how are you going to handle forever and ever in His presence...? You'd be bored to tears in heaven, if you're not ecstatic about God now!
