My Testimony (about me)

I was not really raised in the church, although I was baptised as a Presbyterian. We went to church once in a great while when I was very young, but we stopped going to church as a family. Despite that I still felt God calling for me and I've attended a variety of churches over the years while my husband was in the Air Force. God led me to Regent University to complete my Master's of Education degree, and in turn I felt the call even more and found a small country type United Methodist church near home and it felt like I was slipping into a well fitted glove and immediately felt welcomed and at home. I am content to say that I have a new family at Beech Grove UMC in the Driver section of Suffolk, VA. Thank you Faher.
