My Testimony (about me): My Testimony
Before I came to Christ my life was utter chaos. I was unfaithful to my husband, a fornicator; I did drugs, drank and was involved in gang activities. I was raised in the church as a child. I knew right from wrong and chose to live a life full of sin. I chose to not care about God. I was irresponsible and loved my sinful life. My life was a picture of Ephesians, I was dead. EPHESIANS 2:1-2 AND YOU WERE DEAD IN THE TRESPASSES AND SINS IN WHICH YOU ONCE WALKED, FOLLOWING THE COURSE OF THIS WORLD, FOLLOWING THE PRINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR, THE SPIRIT THAT IS NOW AT WORK IN THE SONS OF DISOBEDIENCE.
I became a Christian while I was sitting at home realizing that I could not lead a life of sin any more. I also prayed to God that he would forgive my sins and to change my heart for the better. I asked Jesus Christ to forgive me of my sins and become my savior. JOHN 1:11-12 HE CAME TO HIS OWN, AND HIS OWN PEOPLE DID NOT RECEIVE HIM, BUT TO ALL WHO DID RECEIVE HIM, WHO BELIEVED IN HIS NAME HE GAVE THE RIGHT TO BE CHILDREN OF GOD.
My life since I have come to Christ has been so wonderful; I get joy from spending alone time with the Lord. I desire to read Gods’ word. I read the word and I get inspired to become a better wife and mother. I have a mentor and she helps me with my walk with Christ. EPHESIANS 5:22 WIVES SUBMIT TO YOUR HUSBANDS AS TO THE LORD.
I used to let my children do whatever they wanted to do without consequences. I am a better parent thanks to Christ. EPHESIANS 6:4 FATHERS DO NOT PROVOKE YOUR CHILDREN TO ANGER BUT BRING THEM UP IN THE DISCIPLINE AND INSTRUCTION OF THE LORD.
