I'm having a pretty good time here. We go to church, swim, eat, do chores, party at Ed's Party Pad, and go to the zoo. I got 3 house mates, Blake, Brett, Teak, and then Ed runs the house with his son Andrew and his wife Adrianna. I was just eating a sandwich. It's goin' good. I hope to be back in about 3 1/2 weeks, so hopefully I'll see you then!

I've been doing pretty good here, and we just got a new kid named David from San Diego. School at home would start on the 20th, and here it starts next week, so I need to know my class schedule so I can start the classes here and I won't have to catch up on anything when I get back. I'm halfway to my 1st evaluation, and I hope I pass and get to go home, because i miss all of you back home. I love you, but I have to go, so Bye!

My son went to Hope for Teens the end of May. About a month later, he accepted Christ and totally turned his life around. He has a deep desire to get closer to God and serve him which is very exciting. I think he had to get to the point of becoming totally broken before he was willing to turn his life over to Christ and admit that he needed him. He then went to Spiritual Boot Camp which really helped him to grow.

He graduated into Phase 2 but he is going to stay and do a work internship since he is 19 and out of highschool. I think the kids need to have some time to get grounded in their new life before coming home or it will be too easy for them to fall back. here they have a support group and accountability. If he comes back home and get in with old friends and reminders of his past, it will be hard. I would recommend you leave him for at least another 30 days. It is very beneficial. God bless you as you decide.
