It's In The Eye Of The Beholder......

It is a common belief that if we are not perfect human beings, God will not bless us or that He has no use for us. Ironically, the Bible says that God looks to bless someone who is not perfect but whose heart is perfect.God's greatest work is revealed through his deliverance of the unrighteous. Throughout the Bible are men and women who we never would have considered as disciples of God. The Bible is filled with tricksters, murderers, liars, fornicators, and the like. But, God uses the weak and…See More

We Must See Ourselves As One........

Separatism outside of the realm of Christianity is a widely accepted principle. It is a concept that is not only embraced, but oftentimes encouraged. This practice dates back to the early feuds of the Hatfields and the McCoys. The commonality of division is evident in presidential parties, race relations, economic status, and the like. The world operates on an "us and them" attitude. This is an expectation of the world. It is not an expectation of the body of Christ. So, why then is it found to…See More

What Are We Calling "My God"?------EXCERT FROM BOOK "Blood Stained Pews".

Who is it we are calling, "My God"? We chase after products that bear the labels of Versace, Mercedes, Dolce & Gabana, Rolex, or Prada. All of these are names that we have somehow attached importance to. We don't care that the more recognition there is attached to the name, the HIGHER THE COST to attain it. We just continue to chase after the names of individuals we never knew and will probably never know in our lifetime. Our movement is constant and at an incredibly fast pace as we…See More

"Blood Stained Pews" --Catchy Title, But What's That Book About? Read Below For More Info......

It can be very difficult, at times, to understand how stories of the plight of others in the Bible relate to what you are dealing with. We have all heard that the Bible has the answers to all of life's struggles. We have heard that the Bible is God's instruction manual for Christian living, right? But have you ever opened it up and found yourself confused? The preached Word of God is supposed to help us sort out and understand what it is we are reading. Make no mistake, God's Word is POWERFUL…See More

"Maybe I Should Ask Someone Else"

Pay attention to where or from whom you are seeking answers for your life. Look at the person's life from whom you are seeking knowledge or guidance. Do they have peace, happiness, and contentment? Are they financially secure or do they spend money uncontrollably? Are they in a relationship or are they single? If they are in a relationship/marriage, is it a good one? Are they blessed or are they stressed? If they are deficient in their own life and can't seem to get themselves together, how then…See More

What's Up With The Attitude?

Your attitude can actually dictate the direction of your day. If you wake up feeling negative, mean or grouchy, you will probably have a lousy day.If you find yourself feeling this way, try to force yourself into smiling, thinking happy thoughts and having a positive attitude. Instead of wallowing in negative feelings, remember to thank God for waking you up. Keep in mind, there are others who did not wake up today.Appreciate the fact that God allowed you to have another chance to better your…See More
