My Testimony (about me)

I, Mr. Kevin Smith, was born in New York City and i am 21 years of age. My mother got saved when i was 2 years old and all i could remember was being in church and learning about the ways of God. I did not grow up with my father so i always lacked leadership from a father standpoint. When i was 16 i started to hang around with the wrong crowd and i was influenced to drink alcohol and smoke weed. Now, i grew up in the church and even though i was young i loved God and had my own personal relationship with God. By the time my eyes were open to the world i began to be disrespectful and i became someone i was not. So for 3 years (age 16-19) i did my whatever i could to ignore God in my life. When i was 16 and started to act up, my beautiful mother prayed and God put it on her heart to write a letter to a Teen Reach Rehab Program in Arizona asking if i could receive a scholarship to the program. Well that letter was thrown in the stack of hundreds and hundreds of letters that was sitting in the office.
Then almost exactly 3 years to the day that the letter was written, a young girl by the name of Anita Rivera was cleaning the office of Booby Torres and stumbled across the letter that my mother had written more than 3 years ago. Bob was shown the letter and found it in his heart to call me. I had talked to him for about an hour and he told me about his testimony and asked me if i wanted to come out here and be apart of the ministry. With tears in my eyes i accepted and i never looked back. I gave my life to the Lord in October of 2005 and i have been sooooooo blessed for that. God has promoted me mightily and with God, have accomplished things in my life i have never ever imagined. So if you are reading this feel blessed. If God did this for me, imagine what he can do for you!
