Profile Information

My Testimony (about me): At the age of 12 i began using drugs and exploring the likes of the opposite sex. By the time i was 18, I was hooked on meth,
and then led to heroin. I then tried to kick the habit and exchanged my drugs for perscribed tranquilzers, that led me to suicidal depression and my addiction got worse.. By the time I was 28 years old I was taking enough tranquilizers in one day to kill an elephant. I was lost, lonely and in my own world i had created. Finally the day came that I hit bottom and felt as though I was missing something, and as though there was a big hole inside of me...it was just empty. So i then admitted myself into a residential treatment center to get clean.
On March 31, 1995 sitting in drug rehab center , and feeling as though I was all alone, a brother in Christ came to visit me and led me to accept Christ as my Savior. As I sat their praying and crying out to God as though it was the last breath I had in me, It was also then that Jesus baptized me with His holy spirit. I praise God for His healing Power in me, and for releasing me from the bondage of depression and drugs. I know that ONLY by HIS strength I am able to keep me from falling to a lower level.I know that I don't have to look back and worry because He is by my side each and every moment , and I know that with Him i will only move forward and deeper into His presence. And I know that without Him , I can do nothing.

ALITTLE MORE ABOUT ME :

I Love the Lord!! I love my family and I love my friends... I enjoy fellowshipping with other believers, and love to spend time with my family. It is very important to me to find that quiet place and spend time with God one on one. I am never too busy to spend quiet time with the One that shed His blood for me...I am a very simple and happy kinda person, . Don't like to plan ahead... just take each day as it comes. Content and thankful for all that I have. I am current Executive House Director at New Life Outreach in Napa...reaching out to women who are struggling. GENERAL INTERESTS:

I enjoy doing the things that God would have me do . It is His will that i choose to follow each day.Focus only on here and now , and how can i serve Him today.I claim His unconditional love and blessings upon myself and my family, and I know that all things are possible with God. ( Matt. 19:26) I Love to reach out to others. It blesses me to see others happy.

MUSIC:

I love music that feeds the soul .. grow closer to God... Christian Praise and worship are my favorites. I also enjoy black gospel,reggea gospel and christian pop. Some of my favorites are by Nicole Mullins, Steven Curtis Chapman, Mahalia Jackson,Trinitee, Michael W Smith, Amy Grant,Hillsong,Point of Grace,Kelcie Paige,Crystal Lewis,Kirk Franklin, Selah and so many more...

MOVIES:

I love to watch Hallmark Family movies with my kids
..and once in awhile I will watch a good scarey suspenseful movie.
Some of my favorites are Love comes Softly, Loves Enduring Promise, Loves Long Legacy, Fly Away Home, Dreamer, Seabiscuit, & many more...

TELEVISION:

We don't watch cable television in our home.
However, we do Netflix and get Little house on the prairie,
The Waltons, Touched by an Angel,Brady Bunch, and so on...
Able to screen what my kids watch.

BOOKS:

Joyce Meyers, Benny Hinn, Beth Moore, Dr.Charles Stanley,
Max Lucado, Charisma Magazine and Readers Digest.
Most non fiction Christain books with a personal testimony and My absolute favorite is The Bible
because I would be lost without His Word in my heart.

HEROES:

Mynumber one hero is God of course, for i can do Nothing without Him, and it is only by His Love & Mercy that i can live in freedom. Thank you Jesus!!! My second hero is my husband because he has always been a loving and caring person , and is faithful to Gods will for our lives and is a servant of God... And then third is my good friend Dave who has always been there for me from the beginning, he never gave up on me even when times were rough, he is a warrior for God and has always treated me like a little sister with love in Christ.
