My Testimony (about me): Ey wat up my name is Omar im 18 yrs old and i grew up in poenix,az / sunnyslope area. Ever since i was a lil kid i grew up around gangs. when i turned 13 i got jumped into one, and ever since it was none stop fighting,shootings,drugs,ect.........i got shot for the first time in my life when i was 16, they told me that i was lucky cuz i could of died. When they told me that, i had a very strong feeling that god was the one protecting me . But it didnt matter to me i kept doing bad things and getting envolved with the wrong people. Then i started having problems wth a different gang in my hood so we ended up shooting at each other . Then one night i was outside my home just chillin wit my family and then the gang i was having problems with drove by slowly and started shooting at point blank at me, so i started to run but i got hit again but this time i had gottin hit on my leg.. after that i kept gang banging to the foolest and doing drugs..then because of all my actions on the streets i got my family shot. After that i told my self i have had it wit these things the gangs,drugs n shootings..i felt down all the time and got mad at every thing for no reason but then i just had a very strong feeling to get to know are father god. Then a few months later my family and I moved away from the hood i grew up in, into a better side of Phoenix and after that i stoped banging but still had a lil trouble with drugs. Then i met my new awsome neighbor and she started talking to me aboute JESUS and GOD n liked it so she invited me to church n i said OK lets go. So we went n i loved it and i got saved and ever since tha day i dont feel angry or nothing i even stoped doing drugs that day n i dont have any desire for it since just PEACE AND LOVE FROM GOD!.....................Now i want to tell who ever feels that thy want to get to know god or even go to church DO IT! dont wait any longer.
