Profile Information

My Testimony (about me): I have been a Christian for nearly 30 years now. I came to Jesus in the middle of an acute personal crisis. Suffering from a deep depression and on the verge of committing suicide, for the first time in my life I turned to God for help. He cured me (miraculously, of course) of asthma, hay fever of the worst kind, psoriasis, arthritis, excruciating and constant back pain, and best of all, of my depression. Healed my marriage, rescued my son Bobby from the depths of a life of crime and vice to make him the man of God he now is. Best of all, He made a believer out of the most cynical of unbelievers a man, such as I was, can possibly be expected to be, and has kept me that way in spite of all my weaknesses and all the bad breaks I've had in life. I'm omitting innumerable more episodes, just as powerful, but I can say, properly speaking, that my entire Christian walk is a life-long witness of God's power, grace and love. By the way, I cannot understand why so many people do not seem to be able to say much more than vagaries and run-of-the-mill generalities when they are giving their testimony. Call it bragging if you will, but I could write a book. Shouldn't every witness of Christ be able to do likewise? Please, whoever happens to read these words, don't take them as a reproach, but rather let them be a lesson for you to meditate on.
