Just a note for visitors here. Like the subject line says, I'm expanding on the web, and here's why.

Over the course of the past several months I've been convicted by God to review my life -- all 40+ years of it. Suffice it to say, I've lived in the darkness for the vast majority of it. To use "sex, drugs and rock-n-roll" as even a basic description would be a serious understatement, but it gives you an idea.

The apostle Paul once said, "Of sinners, I am chief!". If that's the case, I surely belong in the upper ranks, at least in comparison. But I'm also one of God's many prodigal children, returning to my Heavenly Father, once again, after wandering lost in the wilderness, having counted on the secular "wisdom" of my own mind, and the minds of others.

I am back, however, having been not only convicted to return, but called to His purpose for me as well, which is why I post this now. Our Heavenly Father has called upon me to write, to speak up and speak out, for Him. Which is what I've been working on as of late.

For the sake of brevity and getting the point across, I'm writing under the monicker of "The Reverend of the Republic", and the reason is rather simple: If Rush Limbaugh can call himself the "Doctor of Democracy" -- when this nation was never founded as, or meant to be a democracy -- then I can call myself the "Reverend of the Republic". Besides, the name conveys both the Biblical and Founding principles about which God has, unmistakably, called me to speak.

Don't get me wrong. I have an immense respect for Mr. Limbaugh, as well as many other well-known and not-so-well-known conservative talk show hosts, columnists and speakers. But, considering some of the people who call themselves "Reverend" or "Minister" these days, I feel I can do the title much more justice.

I thank you all for reading this, and hope each of you will visit these sites, and leave me any feedback you wish. I'm looking forward to working with other Christian Patriots in doing His work.
