My Testimony (about me)

I am the Son of Pastors Jose & Elizabeth Cruz, I love JESUS with all my heart. I'm a U.S. Marine and I have served two tours in IRAQ, have been stationed in Okinawa Japan for 2 years, and I am possibly making the Marine Corps my Career; however, I will let the Lord guide me on that one. Like many others before me, I am the product of 2 people who love one another very much and have been blessed in marriage for 30 years! I have 2 bright shinning examples as parents and am privellaged to be their son. I have back slidden not as many would think, but when I turned older. I was the type of Preacher Kid who actually listened to the advice of his parents and brought his bible to school and preached to his friends, even all the way up to high school. When I was in my early 20's I decided to stray and follow the desires of my lustful heart and gave into the temptations of the world. I joined the Corps when I was 24 and since then I have traveled learned and did a lot of things that I am not proud of. I drank, part took of illegal activities and become sexually immoral as well. As ashamed of all that I have done, nothing gives me more pleasure then to say that I have rededicated my life back to Jesus and he is the Reason why I live. I choose to serve only him and not give place to the devil no more. I am a proud christian and for that I will gladly give my life, along with my family and country. This country was founded on Godly principles and morals. I believe that everyone has a choice, FREE WILL, and if we choose to serve our Father God, he will bless us. I am now a single man and proud to be on my own, I don't need women to please me nor fulfill the desires of my heart, only God can do that and I now humbly wait for my father to bring me my wife! I no longer want to play games, I am a man now, and I would rather be alone for the rest of my life then keep pursuing the desires of my flesh. I have learned a lot, however, like king Solomon, I choose wisdom and choose to grow in humility and in faith. Proverbs 6:20-22 "My son, keep your father's command, and don't reject your mother's teaching. Always bind them to your heart; tie them around your neck. When you walk here and there, they will guide you; when you lie down, they will watch over you; when you wake up they talk to you." As many of you, I'm sure you thank GOD for your parents as I do. I want to live many and blessed days for the rest of my life. Thank you Mom & Dad, LOVE YOU!
