My Testimony (about me): Hi my name is Sarah Gasch and I grew up in Oakland California. I was raised in church, I saw miracles happen, I watched the power of God moving on the congregation but when I turned 13 I decided I had enough of Christianity. Because I lacked faith and I hadnt developed a intimate relationship with Jesus I said to myself "the only reason I am saved is because my parents are" so I started living for myself and sin overtook me. At the age of 13 my parents moved us to Arizona because of program my brother was in because of his bad behavior. When I was 15 I was sent to live in an accountabilty home because of my rebellion. I resisted God and indulged myself in sin until I was completely full of it. Then after my 16th birthday I gave my life to Him because I realized my need of a savior and now instead of saying I am only saved because my parents are, I say I will stay saved even if my parents are'nt. I then got my GED and did the bible college Elijah Generation which gave me some much needed discipliship which I couldnt have done without. God has broken the fear of man of my life and I am beginning to understand that He is more than someone who gives me peace and joy but that He is my Lord and Father. I am determind to develope a close relationship with Jesus no matter what sacrifice is required!

breakthrough

God has taken the greatest pain and hurt that I thought would never go away and He has made me a new creation He has renewed my mind and renewed a right spirit within me. God has done a miracle in my life. Praise God! I am trusting Him and putting my hope in Him. His love is greater than words can describe.

Kristen lost all her EG pics, too, when her computer crashed..so if you have any good ones to email us, we'd love it! She's home right now for a few days until she starts her summer job. She's working inmy home town and will prob. live with my brother and his wife while she works at New Salem State Park as an intern. (that's where Abe Lincoln lived as a young man.)
