Profile Information

My Testimony (about me): I have been saved since I was 5 yrs old. My father became a pastor when I was at the age of 10. I was not very happy about that. I felt that I would be scrutinized because the church that my father started took over the building downtown that was our local theater. People were not very happy about losing the only theater in town and having to drive an hour to go to the movies.
Growing up in the church did have a strong impact on me, and my love for my parents kept me from doing many things that I probably would have, and could have gotten me into trouble. I steered clear from drinking because I did not want to give my father (the new pastor in town) a reputation for having a "wild daughter". I always had a tender place in my heart for the Lord and always was very sensitive to the things of the Lord. I always wanted God's blessing on my life, so even times of being rebellious I would always be thinking of what the Lord thought of me and would be quick in my repentance.
Today, I love the Lord with all my heart and have seen the glory and the mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ. I want to see all my family members and my friends to know and love the Lord with all of their hearts. One major point that I have learned to live by and know that "God works all things together for good to them that love the Lord and are called according to his purposes." We do not know the end of the story, so when we are going through tough times God can use it for his glory and to make us stronger. Just like Joseph, God did not leave him, he allowed him to go through tough times to raise him up to be the leader of all of Egypt and to save his family.
