Born Yalonda Williams to Kelvin and Linda Williams on September 14, 1982, Evangelist Yalonda Wood Had No idea that God had called her from her mothers womb and had placed his anointing on her life. However, it was early in her childhood when Yalonda Wood learned that she had a calling on her life to do a mighty work for the Lord.But It was not until she was thirteen years old that God revealed to her that he was calling her to preach his word, and to do the work of an Evangelist in which she would be used in the future to save souls for his kingdom. In the summer of 2000, years later, she yielded to the Spirit of the Lord as He drawed her to a more intimate relationship with him.She decided to submit herself and her calling under the guidance of Bishop Keith and Prophetess Andrea Johnson Pastors of Greater Works Miracles and Deliverance Center in Tallahassee Florida. Evangelist Wood learned early as a young woman of God that, being saved does not mean being perfect in the world's sense of perfection. However, having faith in Jesus and a repentive and broken spirit towards God will take you further then any thing else. In the summer of 2001, after receiving Christ, Evangelist Wood encountered a hard trial that would in turn be used to birth the anointing God had placed on her life. After experiencing a miscarriage, a failed marriage and financial lack her life seemed to be turned upside down.--- but she knew that God would not put no more on her than she could bear! Now Evangelist Wood uses all of her experiences in God to testify of who he is and who he can be if you allow him to have first place in your life. She has now been ministering in Tallahassee florida for the past 7 years.She is the loving wife of Pastor Jonathan Wood Jr .And she serves with him as the co-visionary and Co-Pastor of their church " A Chosen Generation Church International" in Tallahassee Florida. She is the Founder of Spirit Of Life Ministries, which is an Evangelistical ministry that have reach many people and inspired them in their walk with God. Spirit Of Life is a ministry that focuses on spreading the gospel through the preached word of God. Her preaching has been known to challenge the minds and hearts of the hearers, by showing them God's call to holiness and righteousness. God has qualified her for this next level of ministry and commanded her to take her ministry abroad.Through several diffrent programs within the ministry such as, the Mentorship Program, Jehovah Jireh House Of Restoration, The Women In Leadership Conference & retreat and so much more, Yalonda Wood is determined to be a vessel for the Lord that he can use in these last days to save the lost, and grow the body of Christ.
