My Testimony (about me)

hello! ! ! my name is Talia...after serving christ, singing is my passion...before i finally devoted my life to Christ in late 2010, i lived a trashy and selfish lifestyle. like someone wise said to me, i was one step away from stupid...not only was i heavily involved with sex and drugs, but i was severly depressed and had even attempted suicide...this short paragraph cant come close to explaining just how complicated and messed up my life was...the whole time, i felt God pulling at me...constantly trying to remind me that he is still there for me and i finally believed that God had more in store for me...i went back to the school i had attended before (zephyrhills Christian Academy) and recieved so much love and godly counsel from what i like to think of as my second family...the people at my church and school helped me in so many ways and i will always be grateful to them...i worked my butt off to take care of my sisters and graduate a year early (WOO HOO CLASS OF 2011! ! !)...I am doing the best i can to rely on God for strength and support in providing for my family and representing Him wherever i am...i hope to use this website to meet other christians (baby, on-fire, lukewarm...) and fellowship with children of God :D "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation."
