My Testimony (about me)

When I was 15 everything seemed to be falling apart in my life. I never knew who the Lord was because I grew up in a family of non-believers. I would try to pray as a child, but not know who to pray to. The enemy was good at having me believe lies and as I grew older, people would tell me about Jesus and I would think they were crazy. Things were difficult for me because I suffered from depression, would drink constantly, and search for love in all the wrong places. I felt empty inside and wanted to die because I thought that was better then living. I hurt myself in many ways, living in regrets, confusion, and fear. On day I was at a parade alone and a woman came up to me inviting me to a free concert. Not knowing it was a christian concert I went with a friend and was in for a suprise. We had showed up to late and had just missed it but the woman saw me and was excited I showed up. She didnt judge me for my looks or who I was, and everyone who was there made me feel so welcomed. They didnt seem fake to me like the rest of the world appeared. I ended up attending the church for a short period of time and came to the Lord. I told Him if He was real and if there is a heaven, I want all of my family to be saved and to see them there. Today everyone in my family is saved except for my mom, dad, and little brother. God is good and I know He is working on them too. Im truely blessed and thankful Hes with me and never gave up on me, and never will.
