My Testimony (about me): i had to update everybody on the new me!!! well, for those who are yet to meet me, my namie is jamie nicole dowling. i live in newark, delaware and i was a former student at second chance. unfortunately i did not get to finish the program but i did learn some hard life lessons that make me who i am today. i ran away from second chance to downtown los angeles, california. i was there for a little over a month just doing my own thing. smoking, drinking, carrying on. i ended up selling my body for money to survive and to be able to stay with the family i was staying with. because of all the drugs and activity i went to california 200 pounds even and now im home 156 pounds later. which would have been nice if i lost it the right way. then i was put in a children's center when i came to my senses to go home. there are started being more mature and remembering the morals and values i learned at second chance and started putting them to use in all my situations. finally i am home where i belong and i am currently working on trying to mend broken ties with my family. im doing well in school and im actually going to finish 11th grade this year. so i just wanted to thank you guys for all the love, support, and prayer because the true breakthrough is already in effect.
