My Testimony (about me)

First of all I'd like to give God ALL the glory. If it weren't for his grace and mercy I would not be in the place that I am today. I grew up in the church all my life and have seen many miracles take place. Even though I was always in the midst of His presence, the Presence of God was never with me. There were a few times I had an encounter with Him, but even though I had those encounters I never had that true understanding of why I needed a Saviour. So like the Prodigal son I headed out into the world on my own. I left everything that I knew and had been taught my whole life and traded it for a world completely foreign to me. I signed on to an independent hip hop label and began using my God-given gift for Satan. I was sucked into a lifestyle of clubbing, drugs, alcohol, and sexual immorality. I began to feel so empty and unfulfilled. I thought that doing what I wanted to do and being so-called "free" would satisfy me, but I was wrong. The void inside of me was only satisfied temporarily by those things. One day I began to cry out to God. All I could say was "God help me". God slowly began to prepare my heart for my return home. I began to see the goodness of God through the love of my family, and how they didn't condemn me for where I was. On November 22, 2006 I gave my life to Jesus Christ and since then God has completely changed my life. I am a brand new creation in Christ and I can't thank him enough for what He has done.
