Profile Information

My Testimony (about me): i was born in a christian home. since i was little i have always loved to sing whether it was imitating shakira or selena. through my childhood i never really knew what was not to love God. until i became a teenager. around when i was 14 things began to change. it seemed as if every church my family and i went to we had a problem. i would always think it was all jealousy since my family is very close. we all have a talent to worship the lord and all 7 of us participating in church activities seemed as if it bother people. so at 14 i decided to stop going to church. a couple of years went by and when i was 16 i had gone through so many troubles that all i wanted was go back to church and be the good lil girl i use to be for God. we went to this church where i became the sunday school teacher for kids 4-7. wow!!! did i love my work there. it was more than just being a teacher. it was having those lil kids love unconditionally and having someone to encourage me to be better. later on i joined the choir and i tried to give it my all. when it comes to singing in front of people i get kinda shy so its why i never did a solo. everything seemed to go great! until things began to be as they were in all the other churches i had once gone to. i stopped being the sunday school teacher and singing in the choir and one day we just stopped going to church again. again a couple of years passed by and i wanted to go back to church because i felt so empty like even though i had a relationship with God i wanted to congregate and be part of a church. finally, we decided to go to a church of a pastor we had known for 10 years. we went and it was perfect. the following sunday i sang a song because it was my bday. everyone clapped and the worship leader asked if i would be interested in joining his choir and i accepted without a doubt. i knew it would be different. but once again i was wrong... all these problems started to happen again. i thought to myself not again why!? i was doing so good. i was starting to sing solos and i did so good. but apparently something was wrong. my family and i decided to stop going there AGAIN. its been almost a year since i havent belonged to a church. i sometimes go to this church close to my house where no one knows anythng about me not even my name. i like it there except i dont want to become a member. since i was little everyone has told me i have a beautiful voice and that its the talent God has given me. well? a couple of days ago we had my uncles death ceremony at this other church. i was only going to go and have a good time but God's plan was different than mine for he had told me in a dream the day before i was going to sing a song. i asked the pastor if i could and he said fine. when we it was time for me to sing at the ceremony the crowd was more than 200 people. i would be singing by myself with only the music and my voice. i started singing and when i finished i felt happy inside of me. when the whole ceremony was over many people said i sang beautifully ... the pastor of the church came up tp me and asked me if i could sing again at his church on sunday i agreed, then by the end of the night i had more than 3 invitations from different pastors to go sing at their church. i then finally understood that my job is not to stay at only one church and sing... my job is to go around and sing the word of God. i now believe God has many plans for me and i believe they all have to be with me singing for him. i am proud to say im in love with God and to say that i may not belong to a church but i belong to Him and thats all that matters to me. i will keep singing and i will keep doing what God brought me to earth to do. for i dont know his purpose but he does and thats all that matters =)
