Hey i was reading Luke 22 yesterday and it said they wanted to get rid of Jesus because they were afraid of the people. WOW that really hits me funny thing is its so true because we always pass Jesus around and sometimes not intentionally but we do we pass him around because of the fear of man because we are afraid what the people will do,say or think!!!




I know this is kinda harsh but this is what Jesus Christ did for you and me stop pushing Jesus aside it doesn't get you anywhere!!

Hey Elizabeth, Yes the religious leaders in Jesus day were afraid. They liked things just the way they were. The Roman rulers let them alone to exploit the poor Israelites. Jesus spoke the truth and they knew it was the truth. Poor sinners were drawn to Jesus. He loved them and taught them about the Kingdom of God and gave them hope from the overwhelming emptiness of religious ritual.
