if someone were visiting church the day we were waving palm branches around?

Pastor Fred cracked a funny at the end of the service though; he said that it'd be nice if we could turn in our palm branches cuz the church gets a refund on the ones they send back to wherever they got them. But, if we really wanted to, we could keep them.
