Revival of the Church

Revelation 2

¹Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the sevengolden candlesticks; ²I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them whichsay they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: ³And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.⁴Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. ⁵Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do thefirst works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

        If you are sitting through mundane church service you need revival. Which means to "renew life". Now we often

overlook the part about "Life". Jesus is the way, the truth, and the "Life". To have this "Life" restored or to truly have it in the first place, you must put God the Father-God the Son and God the Holy Ghost in their place. The Spirit(Ghost) Dwells within you, God the Son (Jesus) is Lord,King,Ruler,Savior....., and God the Father oversees it all. So we are looking at "Service"!  Go back to Acts and the First Church.

Acts 1

¹³And when they were come in, theywent up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son ofAlphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. ¹⁴These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Marythe mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

¹⁵And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

              Prayer together as a congregation, Now you may say "We do Pray", But do you really talk with God about 

how to worship him ? Do you really Pray for souls to be saved ? Do you really see the power prayer can have when you gather together in one accord ? The first church did they were 120 people gathered together praying about what was about to happen. chp 2:1 says again that they were all together in one accord , then God heard those prayers and answered them. God gave Peter words to speak.

³⁷Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?³⁸Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift ofthe Holy Ghost. ³⁹For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. ⁴⁰And withmany other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. ⁴¹Then they that gladly received his word were baptized:and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.⁴²And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Wow 3000 souls , we wish 1 would heed the call........
