The battle for Christ

Few people stop and think how much it cost to follow God. Everything we have is not enough to buy our way to heaven for we are flawed and the bible says that not a single man does good in the sights of God. To break Gods law was to break a covenant between God and man. The punishment legalistically in the spiritual world was death and separation. However no man ever was worthy to walk in covenant with God. When Abraham went to form covenant with god he was put to sleep and a the light of God walked through the part representing death if broken. So when we were not loyal and broke it, God had to die or satin had the right to torment us always and inslave us to sin so we could never accomplish any good even when we desired. Now we have a new covenant that who ever believes in Christ may have ever lasting life! However we must choose it because every un righteous act leaves our heart vulnerable and hurt. We must fight to protect it and really on Christ for strength and healing. The love and life of christ is well worth paying for it is worth more than we can give yet all we have to do is turn our hearts to a relationship with him. When we do so we give all of ourselves and all we have to God for his will, it is hard, often times you face rejection from those who have the strengths you lack and need and lots of hurts must be healed and you enter a war and live an opposed life. It is hard and I often struggle yet no matter how much I screw up and tear myself up God is always waiting for me to let him comfort me and put me back together. Right now my heart burns, and hurts screaming in pain and torment of my sins and from my own sin. I look for someone to pray with me and talk with to fight by my side that I may find strength once again to fight the forces of evil, I fight knowing God has a way out for me if I will just listen, please pray for me and with me all who read this because I will never die and nothing can pry me from the hands of God and though the enemy snaps at my heals I hold to the promise of God that I will smash his head, as can everyone who is steadfast in the lord.
