The hearts struggle (poem by me)

Do not love her you will only get hurt,
but I want to love! Do not let yourself feel,
but I want to feel! Hold back and be patient,
your joy is not in her but in God! God why is it you let me desire her?
Take her from me or give her to me,
it matters not! Just please don't let her torment me!
Calm my heart, let me be still and know you are God.
The lord answers, "Son both love and feel, but let it not rob you lest you suffer.
breath and do not worry, for surely I love you more than myself!"
Soul calms, for once,
peace and rest.
